 G'day list.... I can offer similar compliments on this radio. Great and
especially as I had the 618T-3B which tunes in 100Hz steps if you had the
correct control box. Best feature was not having to supply 3 phase @400Hz
for this model.
Not having the correct control box (1kHz steps)however, I built up a diode
matrix switch box to provide this facility.
Sorry in one way I sold it off but it was a pleasant pastime while here .
I still have the official RAAF technical /overhaul manual which covers ALL
versions thru 618T-1  to 618T-6B.... some of the variations involved
inclusion of narrow band selectivity and squelch.
The  amendment list and changes in this manual were made up to and inclusive
of the date March 1992.
It'a a 2 inch plus thick folder with all schematics and info.

 I won't need it so anyone who wants can make me an offer I can't refuse,
bearing in mind that it weighs nearly 8 lbs. packed... surface mail still
available in this more enlightened country ! !
