Their early stuff wasn't *quite* as polished looking as the later
50s/60s stuff as far as matching hardware and such. If you enlarge the
photos and look closely, you can actually see the engraving above
where the knobs would be located, filled in by overspray. The big tip
for me was the little viewing windows and dials behind them - same as
used on the 30J and numerous other, pre-war Collins rigs. Along with
the overall layout including the tag location.
