[Milsurplus] RADAR set available + military boxed tubes

Got a call Mon. night from a friend whose friend had called him. The friend had visited "Soundex Electronics" in/near Philadelphia to buy audio equipment. The friend saw lots of boxed military vacuum tubes, and a (WWII?) Radar Set in their warehouse for sale. My friend called me because he knew I would know where to pass the word along...

I talked to "Matt" tonight at Soundex. He thinks the radar might be from a ship. I don't know what they have - antennas? Transmitters? PPI? But they did manage to transport it along with the other stuff in SUVs. So it can't be horribly large... You may give them a call at 267-918-8147 to inquire M-F, 10-7 (it might have been 8-7? err on side of caution and call later.) He also said they have tube test gear, some "wooden radios" - consoles and the like, no doubt, etc. to sell. SO, do be prepared to make offers. 

I've never been there, I probably won't go, but you may call and ask.
