Good Evening All, 
 
            The Fort Monmouth Amateur Radio Club will on the Air January
14, 2012 to commemorate the 66th anniversary of Project Diana. Project
Diana was the US Army Signal Corp. project to confirm the Radio
Communication could take place outside the earth’s atmosphere.  At 11:58
am local time January 10, 1946 using a highly modified SCR-277 radar
system at a frequency of 111.8Mc the first successful Earth – Moon –
Earth transmission took place.
 
            Look for K2USA in the General portions of 20, 15, and 10
Meters. We will be running CW, Phone, and Digital modes. For QSL

            The Fort Monmouth Radio Club is all so looking for former
members or Signal Corp. personal who were station at Fort Monmouth. We
want to generate a time line from when the Call sign was issued to the
present day. If you had worked at the station or were just an Amateur who
used the facility we would like to hear from you. And if you have any
photo’s you would like to share we will be glade to get them posted on
