It has been reported from several locations in Europe that mysterious
signals are being heard over the entire HF spectrum and our amateur
bands have been affected. In addition SAQ in Grimeton Sweden failed to
make its transmission
this morning on 17 Khz due to some sort of problem which may be tied
to the interference.

In addition a very wide and noisy beacon with Morse code was heard on
40 meters and 20 meters near 7.067 Mhz and 14.134 and also on 21.201,
it is believed that the main transmitter is on 7.067 Mhz and the other
frequencies are the 2nd and 3rd harmonics.

The transmissions contain some sort of Morse code with . . .
  ---
( dot dot dot dot dash dash dash ) repeated over
and over usually in sets of three.

NORAD is also tracking what appears to be some sort of communications
vehicle emitting high levels of RF at 0110Z, the vehicle is cruising
at high altitudes and approaching 600 KIAS and presently leaving the
Ireland Coast on a North East Track.

I have my R-390A and a Transworld 100 warmed up and monitoring but I
do not hear anything. If anyone hears anything please advise via the
milsurplus list with frequency and time etc.
