The module has been identified.
It is RF module from MAR.
This was identified by a list member.
There is a new one on the auction site 200911110316 for those that
would like to see what it looks like.
I do not know the person that has one for sale there.
Thanks

At a recent hamfest I picked up a module that looks military.
I got it because of the price and the components that it contained.
The module has three tubes: 9003, 6AK5 and 6J6.
The module is tunable with an input and an output.
Tube specs imply operation below 400 Mcs.
The module is marked CRV46269.
This is stenciled or silk screened along with the component designations.
The tuning capacitor is 10 sections.
Each section has 2 stator and three rotor plates.
The sections are connected together as pairs joined with an inductor.
Each pair of sections has a variable capacitor marked CFW482811
connected to ground.
These capacitors have 7 stator and 7 rotor plates, the front of the
capacitor is ceramic with two mounting posts.
The capacitor is screw driver adjust.
The other capacitor in each paired section has a smaller variable
capacitor with 6 rotor and 5 stator plates.
This capacitor is constructed similar to the capacitor to ground.
Four of these capacitors are in series from the tuning capacitor and
a tube pin.
The last capacitor goes to ground with a parallel variable capacitor
to ground with two rotor plates ands one stator plate.
This module is well constructed with lots of bypass capacitors and
feedthrough capacitors.
I would guess the construction date to be early 1950s due to cloth
insulation on the wires.
The feed through capacitors are marked: TG, 12G, G3, +B and AVC.

I'm guessing High VHF, low UHF receiver front end.

Any one recognize the part number? or what this may be?

I bought this for the parts, but, if someone can use it as is, it can
be made available.

Thanks
