Dve - The C0G (formerly NP0) capacitors generally have better behaved dielectric properties. Try:

Not cheap at $4.26 a pop, but not $20 a pop either.

Micas should be good too. Digi-Key only has them at 1kV. Put two l kV 300pF in series at $2 a pop for a total of $4.
