Agreed.  I find this misrepresentation of the work 
of honorable service people offensive.
Better empty shelves and a closed space 
than a fraudulent display.
It's like paying to visit a military vehicle museum,
only to be hustled unto a bus tour of a used car lot.

It's almost as offensive (to me) as sticking 
a modern, plastic "computer with antenna"  
in Radio One of a BB and claiming to have 
"put a WWII battleship on-the-air." Bull.  
If I climb into the cockpit of a B-17 and 
make contacts through the local 2-meter repeater
with my Chinese hand-held,  
have I put that WWII aircraft "on-the-air?"
No difference.
