[Milsurplus] BC-348R Oscillator Issue output Frequency is 0 for part of band 4 : 6 - 9.5 MC

No test equipment connected to your BC-348, can you hear thr HFO osc on another nearby receiver ? Does it truly drop out, as verified by the other receiver ? You may need to have a couple feet of wire antenna on other receiver, near BC-348 innards.
