I spotted the R-1155 immediately. One of the worst technical
inconsistencies was aircraft engines coming to an instant stop with a
loud "clunk" when they ran out of fuel. In real life, there would be
sputtering and backfiring followed by the propeller windmilling until it
was feathered. Despite these things, it was not a bad film.
