I’ve experimented with these.

The higher the output voltage is the less current. It will source. By the time you get above 250 V it’s only good for about 10 mils.

It also has quite a bit of RFI. Your mileage may vary, of course.

I've been looking at a lot of this stuff for the past few months for

the field. I picked that one up

from Mouser.

I saw the high voltage models yesterday, but don't have a use for them

yet, myself.

I'd be sure to look at the ratings, and reviews, if a few dozen, or a

couple hundred, or even a thousand people are happy with a model, I'd go

with that one. People have been happy with the Cllena brand buck/boost

convertors, but they have limited input/output ranges.
