For those who would like to replace a missing dynamotor with an inverter, a nice inexpensive diecast aluminum box, roomy enough to hold a power transformer and a circuit board, can be found on eBay, item # 136182870939.  The seller is motivated to make a deal at less then the asking price of $6.24, + shipping.  Over 50 are available.
