[Milsurplus] CAP

One thing i saw in an old 'Radio News' mag was a mention that CAP units had been given TRC-10
transceivers. This was a 3 - 10 MHz CW only set, and i think not ready for issue, some bugs still.
But what would CAP be doing with a CW only set ? Granted, the gov't surplus agency decisions
were not always strictly logical. 
( I think the TRC-10 was designed with Philippines in mind, but i have no proof. I think it was 
finalized close to end of WW2 and was just given up on, that project closed. I have some original
papers with the Pilot Radio - US military negotiatons about the project. )
