Wonder if anyone can help ID'ing the equipment in these pictures, and if it
is accurate to the Douglas TBD Devastator? I have been contacted by a
company developing a WW II combat simulator, and they want their aircraft
to be exact. They build from scratch a 3D model and work from there making
a program that features it. These pictures are from an actual Devastator,
but the question is if the type of radio gear installed is accurate, or
whoever has this plane just put in what he had that might not be correct
for the plane. The last pic is a list of radio gear in various WW II AC,
the TBD is second from the bottom. Any help would be appreciated and email
back direct please.
