[Premium-Rx] WJ-8711A Vs SI-8711A LED Intensity

I finally got around to evaluating the reason why the WJ-8711A LED's appear 
to be dim when compared to the SI-8711A LED's. The LED's are running at the 
same intensity. BIAS is the same. It's the mask that's different!

The WJ-8711A mask is much darker (Watkins Johnson Vs. Signia-IDT). The LED's 
are just as bright behind the mask but the mask on the WJ-8711A is very 
dark. I had a few customers ask me to increase the intensity. The answer is 
still the same. You cant change the intensity. You can change the front 
panel or the overlay. So if you want all of your radios to look the same 
consider the build before you buy one. Parts for these radios can be pricey. 
Upgrades can be costly.

Sellers are mixing and matching parts on these radios. Request a complete 
set of pictures before you buy. Become familiar with all of the differences 
between WJ, BAE, Signia-IDT, and DRS. I have been told that there is also a 
blue overlay for the Signia-IDT HF-1000A.
