[Premium-Rx] Premium-Rx Digest, Vol 100, Issue 6

I have had my 8718A/MFP since 2000 and as others
have observed, it is one of my go to receivers.  It's
sensitivity exceeds many of my other premium radios,
and it does not have any of the digital hash associated
with some of the newer super radios -- the Ten Tec RX-340
comes to mind.  In short, it's super quiet.  And of course,
using the MFP is a joy.

I still have Racal and Harris stuff around, but the WJ radios seem to the first ones to get used during a listening session.One thing is the serviceability of the WJ gear and the availability of replacement boards.And, the used market prices are usually pretty reasonable when you consider the bang-for-the-buck.
