Rick,

Get out the manual and figure out what the test point signals are.   
Get out your signal generator, set the radio for some reasonable  
frequency, like 2 mc, and inject signals at the test points, beginning  
at the IF end of the RF deck till you figure out which stage is not  
working.

Feed signals in via a capacitor.
