[R-390] Epay and IERC

I saw the listing on the IERC's this morning and marveled that folks would
drive the price up so high. I guess if more than one person decides "they
gotta have it, no matter how much it costs" you can see runaway bidding like
that. I wish some of my listings would get caught up in an insane bidding
war.

It is funnier b/c you can still find IERC's at places like Surplus Sales of
Neb (still overpriced but hey).

I scan through ePay looking at keywords like R-390A, Hammarlund, TMC or
Gonset. Occasionally I will find some forgotten listing and pick up a spare
audio deck, power supply or PTO for $10 - 20. If I can get something for a
song I will go the ePay route.

When I see some completely ridiculous listing like a starting bid of $5000
on a '390A I just have to look up the seller info to see how successful they
have been in the past with other way over the top listings. For that kind of
money the radio better have been rebuilt by the original engineers,
everything gold plated and a paint finish similar to what you would see on a
Porsche.
