[1000mp] FT-1000MP No power output

The watt meter is a Daiwa though I can't remember the model. It is the one
with the big meter face on it and it does work because with his FT-100D it
will read 100 watts into a dummy load. As far as the tuner is concerned, we
can switch bands and hit the tune button and it will show about 2:1 swr at
first with no power output, then it will tune it down to 1:1 and 20 watts
output as indicated on the wattmeter. The radio meter says it is putting out
full power. This leads me to believe that the problem may lie after the
stage where it gets its power reading and a component or a solder joint has
possibly failed, maybe?
