[1000mp] FT-1000MP No power output

I don't think we have that piece of the puzzle yet....the SWR indication
within the radio. It's possible, (probable ?) that the rig has an internal
problem where there is proper output from the PA but maybe the antenna tuner
has failed in an untuned position generating reflected power back into the
radio and only coupling 20W out...or maybe the T/R relay has a problem and
has a high reflected power back into the radio resulting in 20W out. Too
many unknowns yet.
I would expect the radio to reduce output power in such a condition but
maybe that's part of the failure mode.
It's a long shot but possible....
Another thing to look at is the PA current that is being drawn on the
internal meter....most folks probably don't pay any attention to that but
it's a good indicator of the PA health. I would expect if the PA output is
truly 100W that the PA current should be at it's normal level as well.
(don't remember what that is...I'd have to go look at mine in operation)
A hard reset on the radio might be in order as well....
Just some thoughts...
