[1000mp] Mark V A and B audio?

Connect a patch cable from the front panel headphone jack to an outboard
2-channel amplifier driving your external speakers. That way, the Main and Sub
AF gain controls on the radio will independently control the volume of your twin
speakers.

It's even easier to simply connect a pair of amplified computer speakers to the
headphone jack of your MP and position the 2 speakers for the desired amount of
separation.
