I have tried this solution. It works, but most (probably all now) computer
speakers with stereo amplifier have no separate volume control per channel
or balance control. To have independent volume control for each channel. I
have found the speakers set ("Tracer") with dual channel tone control
potentiometer  the same as volume control and have modified the circuit to
have separate volume control for each channel and fixed tone control for
both. Sound quality is not HiFi and you have to remember about potential RFI
problems on additional stereo amplifier during transmission periods.
