[Boatanchors] how to lube a roller inductor?

If I were to think about lubing a roller inductor, I would probably use a 
VERY light coat of silicon lube, it is basically "inert", but the caution on 
any lube it attracts dust particles very quickly.

To save buying a big tube of it, usually how it comes, might try a two-way 
shop, Motorola packs a small dab in their antenna kits, usually shops have 
it laying around (I do).
