Ok. I've been dying to ask this list for awhile:
Does anyone have any clever tricks when removing and reinserting the chassis
from the metal case?
In particular, how do you avoid scratching the inside front :"trim ring"
area of the case when the front panel is seated? The heavier the
boatanchor, the worse this situation becomes. Does anyone tape down the
inner trim surfaces (this could only work if the front panel had enough
clearance- not likely?) Does anyone place the the whole BA on it's face on
he bench and lift the case off vertically? If so, what cushioning do you
use to protect the panel?

I have a 100lb CE600L amp awaiting chassis removal but I dread manhandling
it while scratching the trim. Techinques solicited. Thanks!
