[Boatanchors] How to avoid scratching case trim ring aread?

Dave,

I have restored a handful of 600L's and one technique to use is to  
place the 600L on it's face (yes, it's face!) BUT block it off the  
surface with wood blocks at the left and right edges of the panel.  
Then slide the cabinet over the 600L and insert the two rear screws.
