I shall be visiting the State of Iowa for a week, or so, in a few days, helping my son get settled into his university practicum at the hospital located in Ida Grove...

Are there any specifc points of interest that might serve as warmth for the cockles of the heart of a temporarily displaced OT radio aficiando therein, such as that of yours truly...? You know, the usual stuff --- surplus emporiums, Hamfests, museums (besides the Collins Radio museum, which I already have a lead on, thanks to Dave), ad infinitim...
