Hi Eddy, There will be the a nice hamfest/ARRL convention in South Sioux
City NE on the week end of April 18 i think,.,.,  APRIL 17-18 2009
google "3900 club" for the details.    From Ida Grove go north on 19 (i
think) to US 20 then west about 45 miles or so to Sioux City, dont go to
soo city but stay on 20, across the river (Missouri)
go north at the so soo exit and head for the Marina Inn which is on the
south side of the river.  Then find the organizer, Tom and say howdy for
me.
I am usually there but this year it is too early in the year.   (this is
my home area and used to know people in Ida Grove and family in
Holstein)'
