This is something I've been tossing around in the back of that great
hollow in my head referred to in medical texts as the "cranal cavity".
 It's an offshoot of a design for a lightweight HF transceiver for
EARC use using a DDS VFO combined with the frustration of some
existing BA equipment being hung up on 1 KCs steps.

"Development" thus far has consisted of the mental equivelent of
crayon on kraftpaper drawings which mostly show what not to do.  I
suspect I need more FETwork to get it rightish.
