I recently sent a guy a copy of one of my manuals, around 50 pages free with 
free postage.  No thanks from him or that he got it.  Awhile ago I sent a 
guy a free meter for his TR-4 and again free postage.  Same thing, no thank 
you nor a short note he got it.

Conseqently I recently have become VERY selective as to who I help out in 
the future.  I won't say I won't do it again, but I will think about it. 
It's too bad as I have had some nice help myself from a few guys when I 
needed it.  Awhile back a guy actually asked me to send him ONE TV 
F-connector.

When I need a lamp, I buy a box of them.  When I need an F-connector I buy 
100.  When I need a resistor, I buy 100 of them.  I guess I am just plain 
stupid.
