[Boatanchors] Hallicrafters Dial Mechanism

This is a long shot but forgive me for asking:

I am looking for the mechanical mechanism that Hallicrafters used on their 
very early receivers to move the pointer dial vertically on the round nickle 
to indicate the frequency.

I have an SX-9 that needs this mechanism that mounts behind the front panel 
on the variable capacitor.
