[Boatanchors] Hand held frequency counters?

Hello guys,

I see a problem here in that Sandy mentioned audio thru 150 mhz. The
Cub starts at 1 mhz.

What I like about these counters (like the M1 Optoelectronics) is the
sensitivity, bandwidth and portability. I like to use my older
Optoelectronics counter to sniff out the oscillators in boatanchors,
etc. My HP Universal counter doesn't have that kind of sensitivity. I
would compare the Opto to a handheld xcvr, where they work great with
only a rubber duckie, but may overload with a regular antenna. The
Optoelectronics are expensive, but they will serve you accurately for
many years to come.

Just my 2 cents.

Happy New Years!
