     After reading this it appears to me that the 
restriction on advertising is pretty rigid. Advertising in 
magazines is not specifically addressed nor is antique 
printed matter.
     I compared media mail and parcel post for a 50 pound 
package: the comparison is complicated by the fact that 
parcel post charges are dependant on distance.
Parcel post; minimum charge(Zone 1) $20, maximum (Zone 7)$50 
(numbers rounded off).
Media Mail, any distance flat rate $22 (rounded off).
     There is no restriction, at least of this sort, of what 
can be sent by parcel post.
