Well, Saturday I'm taking my trusty Pro-43, and I'll camp out at the observation
lot near Baltimore-Washington International (if the lot is still open!). If I'm
not chased away in two hours, I'm moving down to the lot north of the runway at
Reagan National. I'll let you all know what happens Sunday, if I'm not in the
FAA lockup.

Afternoon Gents:
A word of caution from the south.
Two different friends were monitoring at Peachtree-DeKalb & Hartsfield
Int'l. They were approached by the
local airport police unit. They were asked for ID and told that the FAA has
asked that NO ONE monitor aircraft activity at airports. A call to the FAA
PIO stated that there is a NEW provision in the Terriorist Controls to
prohibit monitoring of aircraft AND other critical radio
activities at ALL CONTROLLED airports. I have requested a copy of the
Terriorists Controls from my Congressman for clarification. His Office
Manager in DC returned my call and said the literature was of RESTRICTED
ACCESS and was not available to the
average citizen.
