Hi,
Not sure what this has to do with teletype but here goes ...
These days most of the local store managers at these stores aren't very
responsive. I can come up with stories on at least three other chains that
are identical to yours. There does not seem to be any solution to the
problem at the local level. There are only three real alternatives:
1) Don't shop there - fine *if* there's an alternative.
2) Bounce it up to corporate HQ. If they ignore it then it's official
policy.
3) Let your local state attorney general know about it.
A combination of 2 and 3 probably is the best. Assuming the attorney general
ignores it then vote him out of office next time around :)
There are other ways to harass them legally but they either take a bunch of
time or cost money. Generally it's not worth it for a $39 item unless you
have the time to spare.
I admit that generally I just go with option 1 and stay mad for a long time.
Enjoy!
