Subject: RTTY over the internet

O K it is a given that I am not the sharpest tool in the shed.

Some part of the following directions I am not able to follow

>When you have WinAmp installed you can test it by going to
>www.shoutcast.com and listen to one of the thousands of audio feeds
>going out over the internet from all over the world.

( I can find shoutcast – I can ‘dial in’ a classical music station and hear
the music)
(
>
>Once you have it running, if you click on the upper right the "FILE"
(I cannot find the “FILE” button)
>button, a pull-down will occur and you will see that the second option
>is "Play URL".
(therefore I cannot click on “Play URL”
>
>Click on it and a little window will appear asking for a URL to be
>entered. Enter the numbers <207.207.72.32:8000> and see if you can hear
>"The Quick Brown Fox" being transmitted with 2125 Mark and 2295 Space,
>60 WPM five-level ITA#2. The Program Description Window in WinAmp will
>say "Teletype News"
>
>The transmitted bit rate is 24 K, and the audio is 22,050 samples/sec,
>mono.
>
(any insight would be appreciated.)
