Yes David,
202 Type sets were used with the Type 2.
The Type 4 was only used briefly 8 level 1800 - 2000 Bps with error
correction.
The Type 5 was used extensively again 8 Level both machines used the
DRPE
punch, whereas the Type 2 used the BRPE punch.
On the senders the Type 2 used a CX reader as did the Type 5.
The Type 4 used a DX reader.
I have a photo of these machines (except the Type 4) here somewhere.
I had
all of them in my data test center. We could not afford a Type 4
system as
they were extremely expensive.

The actual wire signal was 202 type AFSK (similar to packet)
ASCII at 1200 baud... with a micro based controller that filtered out
the desired news based on various message headers and codes.
