I had the same problem with a KB.  Here's my fix...Using dental probes, I flooded the broken piece with Gorilla Glue and the main plastic base.  Carefully using tweezers to get the piece back in place and thence a dental tool to hold it down while the glue set up, it took...much stronger than the original.

Again using dental tools, I hooked the spring around the plastic piece and it's all "back to normal".  Dental tools came from the local hardware store.

It takes time and patience...If you lost the small plastic "tang", you can surely fabricate something like it.
