LRSB is the base - LRS is the receiving selector mechanism. Sorry I don't
have a manual (276B and 573-138-100TC?), but the wiring diagram is here -
http://www.virhistory.com/navy/manuals/tty/573-138-400-6112.pdf
I found a spec sheet here -
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Teletype_Model_28
The LRSB base was also used for the LD transmitting distributor which was
the parallel-in, serial-out counterpart to this LRS serial-in, parallel-out
device.

These were handy devices in a semi-automatic tape relay system
There were M35 8 level versions as well.
Here's the brief description of the LRS from the WE RS specs -
28A Receiving Selector (Teletype LRS2)
Specification RS-581.0
Section 23S

6- 20 - 62
This selector, designed for mounting on a 28A Mounting and Cover Assembly
[LRSB to us Teletype guys], is utilized to convert a 5 level sequential
teletypewriter signal into an equivalent parallel output.
Features of this unit include the following:
1. - A receiving selector for accepting serial teletypewriter signals .
2 . Transfer type code reading contacts with two auxiliary contacts for
parallel readout.
3. Termination of internal wiring through a cable at a 36 terminal
Amphenol Receptacle which is to be mounted on the 28A Mounting and Cover
Assembly [LRSB].
4. Provision for operation at 60, 75 and 100 words per minute through use
of 28G, 28H and 28J Motor to intermediate sets of gears respectively.
Cheers,
