Your best bet is to find one on the European continent. They are big
and heavy and expensive to ship. Getting one sent from the US would
be pretty expensive. They need to be properly secured before shipping or
things will need to be repositioned before they can be operational again.
I believe there is some sort of bolt that holds things in place? I don't
recall the details.
As for using it as an RS-232 terminal, that can be done. Most (all?)
teletypes are setup for current loop communication (20 mA for model
33, 60 mA for other models), so you will need a current loop to
RS-232 converter. These are easily purchased and/or constructed if
you are handy with electronics.
