Hi Vladimir there was also a teletype supplied rs-232 adapter on
some. when we got all the 33's from phx union high school that were used
with their hp-2000f timeshare system we bought -
- they were all on added dolly stands and had the real teletype
issued rs232 adapter to connect to datasets a bit foggy I think there was
20 or 30 of them. wish I had saved some of these... but heck that was
over 25 years ago... But! be advised they do exist on units out there
and back in the day they were extremely reliable.

Your best bet is to find one on the European continent. They are big
and heavy and expensive to ship. Getting one sent from the US would
be pretty expensive. They need to be properly secured before shipping or
things will need to be repositioned before they can be operational again.
I believe there is some sort of bolt that holds things in place? I don't
recall the details.
As for using it as an RS-232 terminal, that can be done. Most (all?)
teletypes are setup for current loop communication (20 mA for model
33, 60 mA for other models), so you will need a current loop to
RS-232 converter. These are easily purchased and/or constructed if
you are handy with electronics.
