Or, as I recently saw in a computer project article:

"You will need this special adaptor which you can easily make on your 3D printer
using the referenced software."!!!

I had the "on-line reverse line feed" and "on-line backspace" in one of my 28's
a long time ago.  Fun to play with, but not much practical use  in those days.

Didn't the 37 have those features?

That's the kind of thing that today you look in the parts book and nearly throw up.  To add those features they had to design little metal parts that would do the job and not interfere too much with whatever else was already in there, and then manufacture those parts on punch presses and things.  Whereas today it would be a few lines of code for a microprocessor.
