Steve, thank you for your efforts. I'm sorry it won't work out after all,
but it was a good shot. I would have loved to meet you in person; you were
one of the very first GreenKeys members I came into contact with a while
back before I even subscribed to the list, and you've been nothing but
helpful ever since then.
If I didn't have to worry about going back to work or packing two little
ones into the back of my Jeep for a 40+ hour round trip, I'd already be on
the road to go pick this up. Unfortunately I just can't see a viable way
for me to take the whole trip myself, at least anytime soon.
I know a few people who live near there who have ties to Utah and may make
road trips here anyway at some point. I also know a trucker or two. I am
seeing if I can sneak this precious cargo aboard on someone's trip if any
of them are already going to be making a trip in the next few months. If I
am able to secure some transport, I'll definitely make this happen still.
As for being able to break down and stow in the back of an SUV, I'll add my
anecdote, though I think we get the idea now: I got an M19 with table and
an M15 at the same time all stuffed in the back of my '00 Jeep Cherokee, so
it can definitely be done. I only had to remove the M19 from the table and
didn't have to break anything else down. A bigger SUV shouldn't have a
problem.
