According to

last commercial Morse message over radio was sent on July 12, 1999. It's
amazing it lasted this long with teleprinters being around for since 1910
or 1920 ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Teleprinter ).
I still enjoy CW and am on the air almost every night improving my skill
in this in-demand area!
