[GreenKeys] Hmmm, why did they do it that way?

Sometimes the mind just takes off on a tangent.
On several 14 reperfs and tape printers I'd seen there's a nice switch
back near the selector magnets which switches the connect between series
and parallel.
I don't recall if I've ever seen that on a 15, but it might have existed?
So why when they did the 28 ASR/KSR did they bury a terminal strip in
the bottom of the electrical service unit, LESU, so that you have to
tear the machine apart and flip the LESU upside down to change between
series and parallel?
On the 28/35 typing reperf and tape printer, you change it right at the
selector magnets, no switch, but easy to get at.
