[GreenKeys] Hmmm, why did they do it that way?

The only reason I could think of would be that lack of needing to switch it once it was set. Maybe they found that people would switch the easy access switches and burn out the magnets.  

Or it was the age old problem of engineering not thinking about technician at the end of the line.
