[Lowfer] 1704khz Last Night

As an experiment, I ran Argo last night on 1704.5khz with a bandwidth of
about
100khz...did screen captures and saw almost nothing! There was a brief
transit signal around 5:40AM, which is usually some type of local
man made noise...but otherwise nothing.
Listening to the "channel" at around 10PM, and again at 5AM also revealed
nearly nothing. There are two fairly powerful stations on 1700khz, but
neither
was a factor in CW mode.
This only makes me more excited about the prospect of renewed interest
in the Medfer band. Given QRSS transmittes, I think we could see
some real DX by having all the beacons grounded around 1704.5khz.
