It certainly is constrained. I'd hate to do anything that would slow it
further. Compaq certainly built it for low-price sale. Not sure about the
AC97 adherance, though. The computer was purchased in 1997, so I guess it's
possible. I'll take a look at it when we go back to that site in a couple of
weeks.  Thanks for the tip!
