Add mine to the list - but not on ham frequencies at the time... operating a
49 Mhz direct link with another Fire Warden station at about 50 miles. Nice
high watch tower - and very early morning, with sun about to rise -  with
the moon just on the horizon - and very heavy mist in all the valleys.
Signed off and distinctly heard own voice after several seconds.  Tried it
again - and worked again. Disappeared shortly after.  Northern New Brunswick
- Operation Budworm - spraying forest with crop-dusters.
