takes a lot of pounds to make a difference
actually Ol man propagation is a better bet. 
and when he gets in a reflective mode LookOut
  figure this 6 Db equal an S unit ( yep depends on the rcv calibration )
so 2 Db is far less than an S unit . I know some CW ops ( but not me )(
HAR )
that will say 2 Db does count under bad cdx but , by me you couldnt prove
it
be better if the FCC changed the antenna requirements,,, anyone know the
efficiency
of an approved HiFer antenna  ??
