Hi, Barry et al,

Expanding on what David said, the L-10* loop could be used with the
A.R.C. R-10, R-11 and R-22 receivers for direction finding.  These, in
turn, wound up in a number of military and civilian installations from
just after WW II into the 70s and likely beyond.  These were manual
(coffee grinder) loops as opposed to ADF antennas which made them a
bit of a chore to use at times but they did work and did their job
quite nicely.
